Are the fires an issue for us?

I see a lot of press coverage about the Denver wildfires. Though I am sure something would be said if the threat were immediate, it seems like a good thing to check.

Is there anything to be concerned about the fires as of today? Or is that something happeneing miles and miles away?

All the fires reported right now are really far away from where we will be.

What has the rain situation been like on the front range?  Last year my place was bombed with rain the whole time I was there (2 weeks).  A couple of good soaks drops the danger of new fires dramatically.

I think it’s been pretty sparse so far this year. Yesterday there were some big storms but they were further south. Fire bans have been in place for a while now.
